Cynthia started studying Western and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine over 20 years ago and continues her passion of living in sync with nature by offering classes and workshops on eating within the seasons, incorporating wild foods as medicine and finding a deep connection to mother nature and her cycles.
Wanting to incorporate bodywork into her portfolio, she became a CT licensed Massage Therapist in 2003, and quickly specialized in Traditional Thai Massage, which has a base in Yoga, Ayurveda, and Buddhism. She has studied Traditional Thai Massage with different teachers from the U.S., Canada, Northern Thailand and Bangkok.
Practicing yoga and becoming a yoga instructor was a natural transition. In 2010 she got her 200 hr. certification through Embodyoga with Patty Townsend. She has also studied with Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Partner Yoga with Elysabeth Williamson, Yoga 12 step Recovery with Nikki Meyers to name a few.
2017 was the the year Cynthia dove deeper into certifications with Intuitive Coaching with Lotus Moon, then later Yoga Health Coaching with Cate Stillman and Positive Intelligence training with Shirzad Chamine. She offers Online Dynamic Group Health Coaching which includes support and guidance while incorporating Mental Fitness and Ayurvedic Wellness practices into one's life. These comprehensive courses incorporate all aspects of body, mind and spirit wellness.
Cynthia works full time in the Health and Wellness field offering: Group Health and Wellness Online Courses, Massage, Yoga Instruction, Meditation, Corporate/Community Wellness Workshops, and International/National Yoga and Transformational Retreats.
